Stayed here and ate over Xmas. What can I say, rooms were immaculate with everything you would need. The food is put of this world, and that is no exaggeration, I worked in catering for over 15 years and know the love it takes to create food like these guys do. But above all, the service is what makes this place, the staff were the nicest and most attentive I have experienced. Sean looks after his customers as soon as you are in the door, and he and his team do whatever in required to give a top class experience. We will most certainly return in the future!
Didn't stay in the hotel but ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a cocktail in the bar beforehand. The hotel is an old worldly country house style. The restaurant offers both an a la carte and tasting menu option. The food was delicious and the welcome very warm. Highly recommended visiting for food if you are in the area.

Newly refurbished restaurant and beautifully transformed into a bistro. The front is so much more inviting and the inside spacious but welcoming. You can choose various dishes from the menu board or enjoy a delicious roast dinner from the hot plate, there's also a separate child's menu. Or why not treat yourselves to their a la Carte menu in the evening? I certainly will be and will be trying out the Galway Bay mussels and the grilled plaice or maybe the sea bass! Fair prices too. Ranging from £3.25 for the soup all the way up to £21.95 for the t-bone steak. Main dishes averaging at £13.50. If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a meal or stay a while I would totally recommend here.
Beautiful hotel with an abundance of Irish decor throughout the hotel, which I absolutely love that they stayes true to their history and culture. There isn't much to do in the small town but the hotel offers plenty for guest, with their cafe, outdoor bar, indoor bar and restaurant which has a big screen television to catch the world cup. My only setback would be that they don't have any central air, and I stayed when Ireland experienced their hottest summer days since 1976 (if I'm not mistaken).

Best self catering accommodation! Neat and Clean, good quality furniture, not short on anything, would highly recommend. Only bad thing we only booked for one night, so we have to come back to stay longer...
Don't approach this place via Upperlands, the address is slightly misleading it is actually nearest to Maghera in County Londonderry and is best reached via the town.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
